# Solid Planner vs DayKit

The clearest difference is update cadence: DayKit at weekly against Solid Planner's monthly. Solid Planner's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solid Planner sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and DayKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solid Planner ships an update monthly, DayKit weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
