# Personal Link vs Archive

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Personal Link at none against Archive's 1. Personal Link also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Archive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Personal Link asks for nothing beyond the download.

Personal Link ships an update every 5 weeks, Archive every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
