# Flownote vs Study852

The clearest difference is ads: Study852 at none against Flownote's shown. Study852 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Flownote's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flownote sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Study852 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study852 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flownote has 2.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
