# Flownote vs Scrollnote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scrollnote at 100% against Flownote's 48%. Scrollnote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Flownote's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flownote sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Scrollnote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrollnote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flownote has 2.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Flownote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Scrollnote's.

Flownote ships an update every 5 days, Scrollnote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
