# Flownote vs Study AI

The clearest difference is ads: Study AI at none against Flownote's shown. Study AI also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Flownote's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flownote sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Study AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flownote ships an update every 5 days, Study AI every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
