# Flownote vs EvalEdge

The clearest difference is ads: EvalEdge at none against Flownote's shown. EvalEdge also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 26.0). Flownote's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flownote sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and EvalEdge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EvalEdge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flownote has 2.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
