# Flownote vs Stash

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Stash at 100% against Flownote's 48%. Stash also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Flownote's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flownote sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Stash sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flownote has 2.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Flownote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stash's.

Flownote ships an update every 5 days, Stash fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
