# Flashcards by SwiftStudy vs Cogni

Flashcards by SwiftStudy and Cogni both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of Flashcards by SwiftStudy's written reviews are positive against 36% of Cogni's. Flashcards by SwiftStudy also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). Cogni's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 33) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flashcards by SwiftStudy sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Cogni sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
