# VisualMind vs Core Step Prep

The clearest difference is rating: VisualMind at 4.5 against Core Step Prep's 4.0. VisualMind also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 2) and review sentiment (23% vs 0%). Core Step Prep's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VisualMind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per 7 days and Core Step Prep sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
