# VisualMind vs Deep Research

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Deep Research at 67% against VisualMind's 23%. Deep Research also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). VisualMind's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VisualMind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per 7 days and Deep Research sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VisualMind holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VisualMind has 3.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of VisualMind's written reviews are positive against 67% of Deep Research's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VisualMind ships an update every 3 weeks, Deep Research every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
