# Mental Forest vs Stepping

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Mental Forest at 12.0 against Stepping's 17.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mental Forest sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year and Stepping sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
