# Alpha App vs Bible Recap ++

The clearest difference is rating: Bible Recap ++ at 4.5 against Alpha App's 3.9. Bible Recap ++ also leads on ratings volume (165 vs 10) and chart position (#168 vs unranked). Alpha App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and review sentiment (50% vs 25%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Recap ++ sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Alpha App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bible Recap ++ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Recap ++ has 165 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Alpha App's written reviews are positive against 25% of Bible Recap ++'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Alpha App ships an update fortnightly, Bible Recap ++ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
