# Brain Balls! vs Patches

The clearest difference is rating: Brain Balls! at 5.0 against Patches's 3.7. Brain Balls! also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 11 days). Patches's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Balls! sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Patches sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain Balls! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Patches has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Brain Balls! ships an update every 2 days, Patches every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
