# VE vs Shrinkly

The clearest difference is ads: Shrinkly at none against VE's shown. VE's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Shrinkly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
