# Easl vs DayDew

The clearest difference is monetization model: DayDew at free with in-app purchases against Easl's subscription. DayDew also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17). Easl's advantage is ratings volume (101 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easl sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and DayDew sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DayDew holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easl has 101 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 78% and 78% positive.

Easl ships an update fortnightly, DayDew every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
