# FlightVault vs PaxLog

The clearest difference is update cadence: PaxLog at every 3 days against FlightVault's every 6 days. FlightVault's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlightVault sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PaxLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlightVault ships an update every 6 days, PaxLog every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
