# Gilbertona vs Bublox

The clearest difference is rating: Bublox at 4.8 against Gilbertona's 4.2. Bublox also leads on ratings volume (45 vs 9). Gilbertona's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gilbertona sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Bublox sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bublox holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bublox has 45 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gilbertona ships an update every 4 days, Bublox every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
