# LEGO® Play vs BrickPal

The clearest difference is rating: BrickPal at 5.0 against LEGO® Play's 4.5. LEGO® Play's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BrickPal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LEGO® Play has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
