# Joythee AI vs 9xchat

The clearest difference is update cadence: 9xchat at weekly against Joythee AI's every 6 weeks. Joythee AI's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Joythee AI sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and 9xchat sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
