# BlueGrays vs Microelectronics

The clearest difference is rating: Microelectronics at 5.0 against BlueGrays's 4.2. BlueGrays's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlueGrays sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Microelectronics sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Microelectronics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlueGrays has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BlueGrays ships an update every 4 days, Microelectronics every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
