# Projex vs RoutineKit

The clearest difference is update cadence: RoutineKit at every 4 days against Projex's every 3 months. RoutineKit also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Projex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and RoutineKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Projex ships an update every 3 months, RoutineKit every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
