# Fair Tips vs Percentages %

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Percentages % at none against Fair Tips's 1. Percentages % also leads on ratings volume (158 vs 7). Fair Tips's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fair Tips sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Percentages % asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fair Tips holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Percentages % has 158 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Fair Tips ships an update every 3 weeks, Percentages % every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
