# ChessXpanse vs Cheir

The clearest difference is device support: ChessXpanse at 3 against Cheir's 1. ChessXpanse also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChessXpanse sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Cheir sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
