# KURE vs LightDays

The clearest difference is update cadence: KURE at weekly against LightDays's every 3 months. KURE also leads on ratings volume (9.5K vs 38). LightDays's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KURE sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and LightDays sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $64.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LightDays holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KURE has 9.5K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two.

KURE ships an update weekly, LightDays every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
