# pomo vs FocusCalendar

The clearest difference is ads: FocusCalendar at none against pomo's shown. FocusCalendar also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. pomo sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and FocusCalendar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

pomo ships an update every 2 months, FocusCalendar every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
