# Document Signer vs Note Taking AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Document Signer at 75% against Note Taking AI's 0%. Document Signer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (26 vs 5). Note Taking AI's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Document Signer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Note Taking AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note Taking AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Document Signer has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Document Signer's written reviews are positive against 0% of Note Taking AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Document Signer ships an update every 9 days, Note Taking AI every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
