# AvareX vs Flight Whisper

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flight Whisper at none against AvareX's 2. Flight Whisper also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). AvareX's advantage is ratings volume (100 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AvareX sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Flight Whisper asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flight Whisper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AvareX has 100 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AvareX ships an update every 2 days, Flight Whisper every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
