# AiNote vs SynapX

The clearest difference is update cadence: SynapX at every 4 days against AiNote's fortnightly. SynapX also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AiNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and SynapX sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AiNote ships an update fortnightly, SynapX every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
