# DuoSnap vs Selfie

The clearest difference is rating: DuoSnap at 5.0 against Selfie's 4.0. DuoSnap also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17). Selfie's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (25 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DuoSnap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Selfie sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DuoSnap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Selfie has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DuoSnap ships an update every 3 weeks, Selfie monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
