# Note Taker vs Habitile

The clearest difference is update cadence: Habitile at every 5 days against Note Taker's every 2 months. Note Taker's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Taker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Habitile sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note Taker ships an update every 2 months, Habitile every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
