# Task Priority vs SimplyTask

The clearest difference is update cadence: SimplyTask at every 5 days against Task Priority's fortnightly. Task Priority's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Priority sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and SimplyTask sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task Priority ships an update fortnightly, SimplyTask every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
