# Task Priority vs TaskSteps

The clearest difference is update cadence: Task Priority at fortnightly against TaskSteps's every 2 months. Task Priority also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Priority sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and TaskSteps sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task Priority ships an update fortnightly, TaskSteps every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
