# Phone Tracker vs Spec'd App

The clearest difference is rating: Phone Tracker at 4.6 against Spec'd App's 3.0. Phone Tracker also leads on ratings volume (5.8K vs 2) and chart position (#125 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phone Tracker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Spec'd App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Phone Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Phone Tracker has 5.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Phone Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Spec'd App fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
