# Clound VPN vs FireApp

The clearest difference is rating: FireApp at 4.5 against Clound VPN's 3.7. FireApp also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (88 vs 3). Clound VPN's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clound VPN sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and FireApp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FireApp holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FireApp has 88 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Clound VPN's written reviews are positive against 50% of FireApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clound VPN ships an update fortnightly, FireApp every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
