# Clound VPN vs Device Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Clound VPN at 60% against Device Tracker's 0%. Device Tracker's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (45 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clound VPN sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Device Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Device Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Device Tracker has 45 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Clound VPN's written reviews are positive against 0% of Device Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
