# Bytech vs HUNTVISION

The clearest difference is rating: HUNTVISION at 4.4 against Bytech's 2.6. HUNTVISION also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (887 vs 110). Bytech's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (28% vs 15%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HUNTVISION holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HUNTVISION has 887 ratings behind it against 110, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Bytech's written reviews are positive against 15% of HUNTVISION's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bytech ships an update every 8 months, HUNTVISION every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
