# LIMIT vs Lifeback

The clearest difference is ads: Lifeback at none against LIMIT's shown. Lifeback also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (79 vs 22). LIMIT's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LIMIT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lifeback sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lifeback holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 22 and 79 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of LIMIT's written reviews are positive against 53% of Lifeback's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LIMIT ships an update every 2 days, Lifeback every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
