# LIMIT vs Promise

The clearest difference is ads: Promise at none against LIMIT's shown. LIMIT's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LIMIT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Promise sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LIMIT ships an update every 2 days, Promise weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
