# VPN vs Vmess VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Vmess VPN at 4.2 against VPN's 3.0. VPN's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
