# Notifyman vs ViewDo

The clearest difference is monetization model: ViewDo at free with in-app purchases against Notifyman's subscription. Notifyman's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 weeks) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notifyman sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year and ViewDo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notifyman holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Notifyman's written reviews are positive against 92% of ViewDo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notifyman ships an update every 3 days, ViewDo every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
