# SpellTime Widget vs Artisan

The clearest difference is update cadence: SpellTime Widget at every 2 days against Artisan's every 5 days. Artisan's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpellTime Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Artisan sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpellTime Widget ships an update every 2 days, Artisan every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
