# Pluck vs Choppa

Pluck and Choppa both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Choppa's written reviews are positive against 33% of Pluck's. Pluck's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks) and price ($3.99 vs $4.99). On rating, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Pluck costs $3.99 and Choppa $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pluck holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Pluck's written reviews are positive against 67% of Choppa's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pluck ships an update daily, Choppa every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
