# Knights of Ages vs ShutterForge

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShutterForge at every 3 weeks against Knights of Ages's every 5 months. Knights of Ages's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knights of Ages sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and ShutterForge sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Knights of Ages ships an update every 5 months, ShutterForge every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
