# LiveMemo vs LiveNote

The clearest difference is ads: LiveNote at none against LiveMemo's shown. LiveNote also leads on ratings volume (46 vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LiveMemo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and LiveNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for LiveMemo against 5.0 for LiveNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveNote has 46 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

LiveMemo ships an update every 4 days, LiveNote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
