# LiveMemo vs Papering

The clearest difference is ads: Papering at none against LiveMemo's shown. Papering also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 days) and ratings volume (9 vs 2). LiveMemo's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LiveMemo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Papering sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for LiveMemo against 4.9 for Papering. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 9 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

LiveMemo ships an update every 4 days, Papering every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
