# Futurwise vs Raycast

The clearest difference is rating: Raycast at 4.5 against Futurwise's 3.0. Raycast also leads on ratings volume (253 vs 1) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). Futurwise's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 54%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Futurwise sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Raycast sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Raycast holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Raycast has 253 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Futurwise's written reviews are positive against 54% of Raycast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Futurwise ships an update monthly, Raycast every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
