# Launchpad vs Chesly

The clearest difference is ads: Chesly at none against Launchpad's shown. Chesly also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Launchpad sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Chesly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Launchpad ships an update every 3 weeks, Chesly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
