# Calendar Notes vs Clog

The clearest difference is update cadence: Clog at every 2 weeks against Calendar Notes's every 11 months. Clog also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Calendar Notes ships an update every 11 months, Clog every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
