# DOU Evoluciones vs Scary Pepe

DOU Evoluciones and Scary Pepe both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Scary Pepe's written reviews are positive against 50% of DOU Evoluciones's. DOU Evoluciones's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DOU Evoluciones sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Scary Pepe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DOU Evoluciones holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of DOU Evoluciones's written reviews are positive against 75% of Scary Pepe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DOU Evoluciones ships an update weekly, Scary Pepe every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
