# Scanner PDF. vs QR Scanner Pro *

The clearest difference is rating: Scanner PDF. at 4.6 against QR Scanner Pro *'s 4.1. Scanner PDF. also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). QR Scanner Pro *'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 83). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scanner PDF. sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and QR Scanner Pro * sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scanner PDF. holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QR Scanner Pro * has 1.3K ratings behind it against 83, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Scanner PDF.'s written reviews are positive against 66% of QR Scanner Pro *'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
